240 euro paid for a less than mediocre composite reconstruction. It is a big amount to pay for such an unsatisfactory result. In my opinion the work should be flawless if a patient pays this much.The doctor kept saying he does not see the stains on my tooth and he does not understand where my dental sensitivity is coming from. He really did not understand how the morphology of the tooth was not right (a lot of enamel was missing especially inter-proximally) which made me lose confidence in his dental aesthetic abilities. I tried to appreciate that he offered to fix my tooth a second time for free, but the result was worse. The form of the tooth was not right; I had lint stuck in the excessive composite material used; the colour of the material was not matching my natural teeth colour; pain and sensitivity still present; my premolar looked like a canine. He suggested a root canal treatment when I told him my pain and sensitivity were still present and at that point he did not know what to do. In my case, it turned out he did not have an eye for details and for symmetric dentistry. I am glad I asked for a second opinion and it turned out that apart from a loss of enamel my tooth was longer because of a visible gum recession, which mandates a gum graft. My tooth was beautifully reconstructed by another doctor (last picture). I thought that paying this much money came along with qualitative results, but I ended up just being stressed and unsatisfied of the result and having to undergo treatment at a different clinic. I think doctors underestimate the suffering a patient goes through when such an unfortunate thing happens. P.S: I am still waiting for the promised refund.

Perfect dental practice!. I had a few things to sort out with my teeth which required quite a bit of work and to be honest I was apprehensive with going back to see a dentist as I had mixed feeling experience back home. But I have to say that Dr Di Marzo is very professional and skilled. His staff is great too. The facilities are very modern and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone.

I’m American, my husband is French. I adore going to the dentist because I’ve always had good experiences. But it was different for my husband, and so when he needed some work done, I wanted to make sure we researched and found the best dentist for us in Florence. Finding a dentist you not only trust but also enjoy is no easy task, but from the moment we contacted his office for information, Dr. DiMarzo has been nothing but available (also in English!) - to address every concern, to reassure any doubt, and respond to any question via WhatsApp, email or phone. The moment we walked in his office, we were convinced again that we had chosen the right dentist. The studio is sparkling clean and welcoming (especially for kids!), and it’s obvious that Dr. DiMarzo is going to do top-quality work, because it’s his passion. He’s friendly and gentle (as is his staff) and his gorgeous smile really helps puts you at ease. When you need work done, a schedule is fixed for your appointments, so everything is worked out in a timely manner. Payments are simple and clear. Tips and advice are given generously. We highly recommend Dr. DiMarzo!

It's a perfect dental practice. I had several emergencies to fix, and Dr Di Marzo was incredibly accommodating and responsive (he replied in WhatsApp almost immediately). One thing is that he's an exceptional specialist; the other is that he is gentle and welcoming. Dr Di Marzo was also so kind as to suggest sharing the X-rays with the dentist in my home country. The staff is polite and kind; the hygienist is also a pleasure. I cannot recommend it enough, honestly. And meet the doctor's dog, what a beauty!
