I’m not a fan of the Dentist but I love this place! They fixed my broken tooth on the same day in an emergency, translated everything into English, provided me with enough paperwork for insurance, and made me feel well looked after. The work is of a high quality, the team are friendly and efficient, the space has parking, is clean, and easy to find. I don’t recommend you damage your teeth just for an excuse to visit, but if it does happen, then this is the place for me!

Going to Factor Dental feels like a spa day or a massage appointment, it’s being pampered more than going to the doctor. Like most people, I was afraid of the dentist. So when I had to find one in Florence, I was quite terrified. When I arrived I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was, I felt at a hotel lobby. I remember my first day, while I was in the waiting lounge, the doctor stepped out for a moment, and offered me a coffee (which he made himself for me). And that was just the first impression. We then sat to discuss the solution for my chipped tooth, and I was even more impressed. I had never had such a thorough evaluation. He even discovered a slight deterioration in my jaw bone, which also had to be attended. After arriving at the proper solutions, we began the process. Little did I know, it would take months. And why? because PERFECTION is what Dr. Paolo Orlando upholds above all, resulting in the best work precision, advanced technology equipment, attention to detail, availability, service, and kindliness that I have experienced in my life. Poi ci siamo seduti per discutere la soluzione per il mio dente scheggiato e sono rimasto ancora più impressionata. Non avevo mai avuto una valutazione così approfondita. Lui ha scoperto anche un leggero deterioramento nella mia mascella, che doveva essere assistito. Dopo essere arrivati ​​alle soluzioni adeguate, abbiamo iniziato il processo. They requested that I leave a review, so I do so, albeit with some hesitation. I arrived in Florence with a cracked crown and they were very kind in seeing me, extremely quick and accommodating. The office was clean, and their staff was always kind, communicative, and reassuring, for which I am grateful. They were patient when I was indecisive (they convinced me that in paying more for a root canal, I would avoid future pain and sensitivity in the damaged area, and I did ultimately opt to do so, for a total of €1300). Fitting the crown was difficult, as I suspect is the norm, but at some point it seems they nicked on one of my neighboring teeth (or, hopefully, perhaps they left a dab of cement that remains there after over a month), and it required 3-4 different visits to adjust it. Anyway, the crown remained high enough where my other teeth wouldn't touch when I closed my mouth, which was so maddening. The dentist seemed like she didn't really believe me, and I left each time thinking, "OK, maybe I'm just being too sensitive and I'll get used to it." Finally, upon my last visit, the "main" dentist took over with great fanfare, and he was much more thorough, even polishing the surface of the crown, which made it much more comfortable in my mouth (which, by the way, I'm surprised the other dentist never did). Unfortunately, while the fit is better than before, it still does stick out every-so-slightly when I close my mouth, and now hurts when I eat. I'm hoping eventually I will get used to it and the soreness will go away, and I know that they would offer to try to help adjust it again, but after so many tries I just don't see the point anymore. Perhaps I should have articulated myself better when I was there -- I guess it speaks to the limitations of my Italian, or to me not wanting to complain too much -- but at this point after two months, my time in Italy is ending, and will have to visit my old dentist in the USA to see what's up. I wish I didn't have to do so, as it's going to end up costing much more in time and money in the long run, but that was the risk I took. Anyway, I hate to leave a negative review, but that's where I stand now.

I am an American student studying here in Florence and had to get an emergency dental treatment for my tooth. The staff and service were amazing here and accommodated to me well. They saw me almost immediately after I made an initial appointment and everything they did was quick and efficient. I was given a step by step plan of everything that was going to be done and the cost of it all upfront. I was nervous coming here at first, but the receptionist and staff were super helpful and eased my anxieties. I recommend 10/10 coming here!

During my trip from Australia, I faced a severe dental crisis. Fortunately, Dental Factor came to my rescue. I'm immensely thankful to the hotel that recommended them. The Dental Factor team was incredibly supportive, instantly putting me at ease with their jokes and laughter. They managed to make a daunting procedure feel remarkably simple and stress-free. The process was smooth, their facility was modern and clean, and the dentists were exceptionally skilled. I'm so pleased with the experience!
